I bet everyone has already heard from this project, but in case you haven't here's the story:

There is this person in Norway who wants to prove to his friend that he can collect one million hand drawn giraffes by the end of 2010.

The goal is to get not only those giraffes, but also to get people to ignore their computer for a while and just draw. Not with Photoshop, not with oekaki. The only time your computer comes into the process when you want to send it to the website:

When writing this journal, the counter is at 143 594, the project started 10 weeks and 4 days ago. I'm guessing it is possible. Especially if you spread the word .
